Fairfield is a short drive up I-80 from our Vallejo head office. Here is where its water comes from and the jobs we get called for most.
Fairfield is in our regular service area from our Vallejo head office, and phones are answered 24/7. Fairfield's city water comes largely from Lake Berryessa through the federal Solano Project, along with State Water Project supplies, and the calls we take there are mostly water heaters, drains, leaks and sewer laterals.
Fairfield is one of the cities supplied by the federal Solano Project, which stores water in Lake Berryessa behind Monticello Dam, completed in 1957. The Solano County Water Agency wholesales that water and State Water Project supplies from the North Bay Aqueduct to the cities, which treat and deliver it.
Each city treats its own supply, so what reaches a Fairfield tap is not the same as Vallejo's. We test before recommending a softener or filtration.
Water heaters are the most common Fairfield call: tanks at the end of their life, pilot and burner problems, and the occasional leak at the base. A repair makes sense when the tank is sound; when it is leaking, replacement is the only fix. Leaks in walls and under floors get leak detection first.

Kitchen and main-line clogs and sewer laterals round out the list. A slow drain in more than one fixture points to the main line, and a camera inspection shows whether drain cleaning will clear it.
